Summer wheat has been moved from category 1 to category 2, so that derogation can be granted for the use of non organic propagation material.

The herb Rosemary has been moved from category 1 to category 2, so that derogation can be granted for the use of non organic propagation material (seed).

The sub-crop Starch potato has been added to category 2. This means that valid reasons are needed for the grant of derogation.

The new Annex 2022 for agricultural crops has been published. This Annex is valid from the 1st of January 2022.
Hybrid rye-grass, Meadow fescue and Blue Lupin have been placed on the Annex (category 1).
Fodder beet and Hairy vetch have been placed from category 3 to 2 because organic supply is available. Climbing bean for intercropping (agricultural) is a new crop in category 3.
